Suggested Use:
Cal-C-Fresh™ is an oral supplement which provides calcium
to help maintain normal blood calcium levels during freshening
and the critical post-partum period. Also includes Vitamin
B complex to maintain appetite. Cal-C-Fresh™ can be
used as a safe follow-up to IV treatment for hypocalcemia.
Feeding Directions:
Use on every fresh cow or heifer before
and after calving. Give one tube at the first sign of freshening
and give another tube 6-12 hours post calving, repeating every
12 hours as needed. If the first serving is missed, a post
calving serving is still beneficial.

For sheep & goats administer 1-3 ml per kg (2.2 lb.) body weight.
For adult cattle and horses it is recommended to give one full tube
(300 ml). Repeat after 1 to 3 hours or as needed. A stomach tube
should be used in animals unable to swallow.
If conditions do not improve, consult your veterinarian. Depending
on the condition of the animal, supportive therapy such as parental
fluids and injectable antidotes should be used along with Activated
Charcoal Gel™ for efficient recovery. May not be very effective
in the treatment of heavy metal poisoning like lead, arsenic, mercury,
etc. |
