Vets Plus, Inc. is a full-service manufacturer of animal nutritional supplements and treats for livestock and companion animals. Subsequently, since 1990 we have provided customers with high-quality products tested for efficacy, stability and safety. In addition, our strength is developing innovative formulations with our in-house technical team.
We offer a range of formats while maintaining high quality standards for research and manufacturing. Similarly, all products are manufactured in the U.S.A., distributed nationally and exported to more than 20 countries.

Raj Lall

Raj Lall has been involved in the animal health business since 1990 when he formulated the first probiotic gels for Vets Plus, which is an international leader in the industry for custom product development and manufacturing of over 500 products. Raj has formed strong alliances with reputable animal health organizations around the world and has become a leader in the industry for custom product development and manufacturing. He has a technical background as a microbiologist and researcher with a focus on pharmacognosy. Raj’s manufacturing background includes a range of delivery systems, including soft chew, dry mix, tablets, pastes, and gels. Recent awards include the Pet Age Icon Award (2015) and National Animal Supplement Council Visibility Award (2015).
Dave Nelson

Dave Nelson, joined Vets Plus as President in 2015. Dave holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and an MBA from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Dave’s senior management experience prior to joining Vets Plus includes serving as President of a livestock feed company. Dave has a long history of supporting industry and community organizations having served as a board member of American Feed Industry Association, Greater Menomonie Development Corporation, United Way Finance Committee, Brown County Port-Rail Economic Development Task Force, Junior Achievement, and many other community organization.
Dr. Ajay Srivastava

Dr. Ajay has more than 30 years of experience in preclinical and clinical product development and nutraceutical research. He has earned Ph.D in neuropharmacology from prestigious AIIMS, India and also serving as faculty in University of Wisconsin Stout. He has chaired and moderated scientific sessions during American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and published several research articles in peer reviewed journals and written chapters for textbooks on toxicology and nutraceuticals.

Dr. Dan DuBourdieu specializes in Pharmacognosy. also held academic positions as Faculty Associate, Dept. of Animal, Veterinary and Aquatic Science at University of Maine, Orona and as Instructor, Dept. of Biology at University of Maine, Augusta. He has numerous patents and involved in many formulation of Vets Plus. Dr. DuBourdieu has also been part of prestigious professional organizations like Society of Rho Chi, Society of Sigma Xi and the New York Academy of Science.
Dr. Jamil Talukder

Dr Jamil Talukder specializes in the study of physiology of living organisms. His research interests include Membrane Biology, Physio-pharmacological Functions of Phytochemicals, Bioactive compounds, Dietary proteins, and Peptides in Human, and more. He has received several awards including ‘Honorable Mention Research Award’ by The American Physiology Society: GI and Liver Physiology ‘Chancellor Award’ (Gold Medal); and has been awarded the Fellowship for Ph.D. in Physiology by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture.

Sahdeo Prasad, Ph.D., a highly-lauded nutraceutical researcher, has published 94 studies, contributed to 14 books, and presented 12 abstracts along with serving as an Editorial Board Member for many peer-reviewed professional journals. He has extensive research on chronic inflammatory diseases particularly cancer, and evaluating antioxidants, anti-inflammation and antigenotoxic properties among many natural ingredients.
Dr. Tom Shier

Dr Tom Shier is a Professor in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, College of Pharmacy, and Director of Graduate Studies in Pharmacognosy, at the University of Minnesota. He is the author and co-author of several book chapters, journal articles and editor of the Journal of Toxicology―Toxin Reviews (Marcel Dekker, Inc.). and a member of American Chemical Society, American Society for Cell Biology and other scientific organizations. Dr. Shier received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Illinois and has completed postdoctoral studies at The Salk Institute for Biological Studies.

Dr Gupta is nationally and internationally known for his research in toxicology, where he looks for poisonous material that may contaminate animals. He earned a Master of Veterinary Studies and Doctor of veterinary medicine from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, College of Veterinary in India. These degrees were also followed by a doctoral degree in pharmacology with specialization in toxicology. In 2006, he was honoured with Murray State University’s Distinguished Researcher of the Year Award.

Dr. Anita has managed responsibilities in Research & Development, Quality Assurance, operations and international sales prior to her roles in managing the Quality and Regulatory departments. She is responsible for ensuring compliance with all of the federal & state regulations and laws pertaining to food/ feed industry. She has earned many industry awards and recognition including the NASC MVP and the NASC Visibility Award
